A Bronco’s Bronco, Bart Lally ’59 served on the Board of Regents, as President of the Alumni Association and, in 2015, received the Father Louis Bannan award for his dedication and service to Santa Clara. In his career outside SCU, Bart earned a medical degree and worked at Palo Alto Medical Foundation as medical director of philanthropy. Bart was known for being the life of the party, an avid runner, a part of the Jesuit community, a loving father to Ryan ’88 and Bart Lally ’85, and a loving husband to his wife, Stephanie Costello, who preceded him in death by a few short months.
