There was never a dull moment in the life of Audrey Hurley M.A. ’87. Audrey always found new hobbies and things to enjoy in life. She had a successful career as a school counselor and later worked as a professor at San Francisco State University. In retirement she discovered a passion and talent for interior design. With her eye for color, aesthetics, and savviness for quality designs, she enjoyed flipping a few gorgeous homes. Her final passion was found with a paint brush in hand. She loved creating works of art in oils or acrylics, while sitting by the oceanside in Carmel or on her patio with her colorful flowers and two cats. She enjoyed a hearty discourse in politics, art, music, or the intricate workings of the human spirit, and loved the enrichment of traveling the world. Audrey died on March 13, 2022.
