2018

Audrey Gozali ’18 was recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) as one of the “New Faces of Civil Engineering.” ASCE acknowledged her academic achievements as well as commitment to serving others. The daughter of immigrants from Indonesia, Gozali often visited her parents’ hometown and was dismayed by the inequity of access to clean and safe drinking water, inspiring her to become a civil engineer. Through a Jean Donovan Fellowship this past summer, she worked in Argentina, living out her dream to connect her civil engineering background with environmental justice. For her senior project, she is focusing on implementing a rainwater catchment and purification system in Tanzania.
