Aruna Ravichandran ’98, M.S. ’08 is vice president of global marketing and strategy at CA Technologies. She has more than 20 years of experience building and marketing products in various DevOps markets spanning all walks of the software development life cycle. Starting her career as an engineer at Hewlett Packard 22 years ago, Ravichandran has since worked to promote DevOps best practices and help organizations address key challenges facing DevOps, such as cultural changes and metrics needed for success. Prior to CA Technologies, she worked at Juniper Networks, where she held executive leadership roles in marketing and engineering.  She frequently blogs for SYS-CON Media, Wired Insights, Tech Target, Information Week, DevOpsDigest.com, DevOps.com, and Cloud Tweaks. She has presented at Gartner Symposium 2016, Gartner ITOM 2014, Gartner Data Center 2014, DevOps Summit 2014, Cloud Expo 2014, CA World 2014, 2015, and HP Discover (2008–2012). Ravichandran is the author of several articles and publications as well as the book DevOps for Digital Leaders. In 2016, she was named one of the top 100 most influential women in Silicon Valley by Silicon Valley Business Journal and received the 2016 Most Powerful and Influential Woman Award by the National Diversity Council.
