Anton W. Kerckhoff ’51 maintained a Martindale-Hubbell Five-Star rating throughout his long career as an estate planning attorney. He was also an integral figure in the Covina, Calif. community regarding water issues. He served a term as the president of the Pomona Valley Bar Association and was legal counsel for the Covina Irrigating Company of Covina for over 60 years. Anton was an avid skier, surfer, hunter, and fisherman in his youth. In his later years, Anton enjoyed growing beautiful roses in his lush backyard while feeding peanuts to blue jays. He died in August 20201 and is survived by his four children, many grandchildren, and extended family, including nephews Christopher J. Fahey ’75 and Thomas P. Fahey ’78, niece Theresa F. Mancellas ’74, and brother-in-law Jerome C. Fahey ’49.
