Though Anthony Wawrukiewicz ’65 often pondered the big picture, looking to the stars as a professor of astronomy, he had a true eye for minute details. A devoted stamp collector, Tony became a national expert on postal history and wrote or co-wrote 10 books on the subject. Tony was also a monthly columnist for Linn’s Stamp News, the world’s largest magazine for stamp collectors, and enjoyed exhibiting and judging at stamp shows. He was also a skilled x-ray radiologist, an avid gardener, talented photographer, enthusiastic musician, and dedicated San Francisco Giants fan. Tony died July 11, 2023.
