AnnaLisa Victoria Wilson ’07 is a medical student at Meharry Medical College. She is taking a year off between her third and fourth year to complete a yearlong research fellowship at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), which will be funded by Vanderbilt Medical Scholars Program. Her interest is organ regeneration, and she will be doing an away rotation in Pathology at Johns Hopkins in November 2019. This past January she won in her category at the World Stem Cell Summit, where she presented her research as part of the poster forum, which was sponsored through Mayo Clinic and its EU partner in the Czech Republic.
