A successful banker and a Zen Buddhist priest, Andrew Stuber ’73 died Oct. 2, 2023. Andy worked in banking for over 40 years and slowly worked his way up to vice president and senior mortgage loan officer for Central Pacific Bank. Outside of work, his interest in Eastern philosophy led him to the Chozen-ji temple in Kalihi Valley on Honolulu, Hawaii. There, under the tutelage of Tanouye Tenshin Rotaishi, Andy trained in Zen Buddhism for many years and was ordained a priest.
