Andrew Gere MBA ’02 has been promoted to chief operating officer of the San Jose Water Company, an investor-owned utility in the business of providing water service to a population of approximately 1 million people in an area comprising about 138 square miles in the metropolitan San Jose area. Andrew has ably served the company and its customers for nearly 20 years in numerous positions and capacities, most recently as VP of Operations. In his new capacity, he has primary and direct responsibility for all San Jose Water Company field activities and departments including Operations, Distribution Systems, Water Quality, Logistics, Engineering, Construction, and Water Resource Management. In addition, he supports and advises the CEO in decision making and assumes primary responsibility for design, development, implementation, reporting, and monitoring of key performance metrics, policies, and procedures for the company.
