Andrew Engel ’08 was married to Kelly Kearns by Michael McCarthy, S.J.  ’87, M.Div. ’97 on Dec. 12, 2015, in St. Helena, California. The ceremony took place at St. Helena Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Culinary Institute of America. Several Santa Clara alumni, and alumni of other fine Jesuit institutions around the country, were in attendance including Kelly Meriano ’08 (a groomsman), Jim Freeburg ’03, James Servino ’07, Patrick Flanagan ’08, Lauren Verrilli ’08, Liam Satre-Meloy ’08, Ann (Thomas) Drevno ’08, and Chris Freeburg ‘11. Andrew moved back to the West Coast after three years of high school science teaching in New York City. He is now teaching science at Vintage High School (Go Crushers!) The couple resides in Napa and are excited to be in the Bay Area once more!
