Alison Little McGhee ’72 published her book My Stroke of Luck: How I Lost My Mind and Found My Sense of Humor. She writes, “Having a stroke is no joking matter … until it is. I decided to compile a group of anecdotes that exhibited the comical side of trying to overcome the devastating effects of having a stoke (‘Oh woe is me’ is not in my nature.)
