Now serving as president of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Alice Reynolds J.D. ’93 brings decades of experience in energy and environmental policy. Previously, she spent three years as senior advisor on energy for Governor Gavin Newsom ’89 and held roles under Governor Jerry Brown, including senior advisor on climate, environment, and energy, as well as general counsel and deputy secretary for law enforcement at the California Environmental Protection Agency. Reynolds began her career in public service as a deputy attorney general in the California Attorney General’s Office, where she focused on safeguarding public trust lands, coastal resources, public access, and other vital environmental issues.
