Sophomore golfer Alexa Pineda ’28 qualified for the 125th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship after a standout performance at the La Rinconada Country Club qualifier. There, she shot a 1-under 69 to tie for second. One of only four golfers to advance from a field of 73, Pineda will make her second consecutive appearance at the prestigious event. Pineda is the first Bronco to qualify since 2019.
