Mad scientist Alex Curry ’12 will be remembered as an innovator, role model, and friend. Whether playing piano with grace, delivering spot-on Tropic Thunder monologues, wearing his signature bow tie, or founding “Armed Bandits Consulting,” an AI and data consultancy, his life was a beautiful blend of intellect and playfulness. In 2021, he and his partner, Amanda, built a life together in the Michigan woods, where Alex became a beekeeper, farmer, and devoted steward of the land, preserving acres of forest for generations to come. Alex died on May 2, 2025.
