1969

Alan Musante ’69 was born and raised in Oakland. He attended Bishop O’Dowd High School, SCU, and JFK School of Law. Al treasured his days at the Loyola Rome Center where he met his wife, Pat Marino, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years. Al worked in commercial real estate for over 30 years. He cherished his friendships from childhood, his college days, and his time at Coldwell Banker & Colliers International. His joy and love for his family came first, but his other loves included the Golden State Warriors, Oakland Raiders and Oakland A’s, and hiking in Redwood Park and Hawaii. He loved his city and was proud of being an Oakland native. At the heart of it all was Al’s commitment to his family, loyalty to his friends, and living a principled life with great integrity. He passed away peacefully in San Francisco on July 24, 2015, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was the loving father of daughter Alexis Musante and son Brian Musante, and the loving husband of Pat Marino; beloved son of Alfred John Musante Sr. and Tiziana C. Musante; loving brother of Annette Finanne, Alana Musante and Jay Musante; loving brother-in-law of Dan Finanne, Gregg Hall, and Judy Musante; and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
