An internationally recognized lyric coloratura soprano, Aimée Puentes was an award-winning opera singer. She graced the stage with esteemed companies like the San Francisco Opera chorus, San Francisco Symphony, Opera San José, Pocket Opera, and Festival Opera. Aimée was also a devoted teacher who poured her heart into her students, finding great joy in their growth and celebrating their achievements. Aimée taught at various institutions including Santa Clara University. She died on Oct. 13. 2024.
