Adrian Amelse MBA ’92 is running for County Board, District 20, in Vernon County, Wisconsin. He has 22 years of experience in manufacturing, product marketing, engineering, and business unit general management positions at Apple Computer and Cisco Systems. Amelse and his wife Donna also own Amelse Farms in Viola.
"I am an objective problem solver seeking to make a positive contribution to Vernon County government," he says. "We purchased our farm outside of Viola 14 years ago and have an active interest in our community. A key tenet of my candidacy is to listen and learn from the community to properly represent our district. I have met with nearly 250 households over the past two months and have many more people to meet. If elected, I will put the residents of our district first and make decisions based on data vs. personal opinion or self interests."
