Adolph Canelo ’49 on November 19, 2009. Ad Canelo came to Merced in 1955 as a young attorney to work for C. Ray Robinson. Thereafter he formed the partnership of Kane and Canelo, currently known as the law firm of Canelo, Wilson, Wallace and Padron. He was actively involved with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and an avid gardener, tennis player and 49’er fan. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren, as well as his children and loving wife. He is survived by his wife Sally Canelo and his children Christine Canelo, Kelly Canelo and his wife Liz and Katy Yeager. He is also survived by his sister Eileen Canelo and his grandchildren Cody and Kayla Canelo and Sarah, Danny and Brian Yeager. He is predeceased by his brother James and his daughter Colleen.
