Susana Ramirez ’99 received her Ph.D. in communication from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2010. She has been awarded a postdoctoral fellowship in cancer prevention from the National Cancer Institute and will be earning a master’s in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health beginning in Fall 2010. She and her husband Kristopher Unger welcomed their first child, a baby boy, Matias Kristopher Unger-Ramirez, on Aug. 1, 2009.
